The Romanian Wine Tasting Tour from Bucharest with Sommelier & Appetisers is an ideal way to experience the beauty and heritage of Romania’s most celebrated wine region. Dealu Mare, often compared to Tuscany, lies just north of Bucharest and is renowned for its rolling hills and award-winning vineyards.
Your day begins with a comfortable journey in a fully equipped vehicle with Wi-Fi on board. On arrival at the first winery, you’ll be welcomed by the winemakers and introduced to the history of the estate. A guided walk through the vineyards and cellars provides insight into the art of Romanian winemaking. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a tasting of three to four wines, each complemented by local appetisers such as bread, cheese, prosciutto, fruit and grapes.
The second winery offers another opportunity to explore the region’s character. With a guided tour and further tastings led by a sommelier, you’ll learn how the climate and soil shape the distinct flavours of the wines.
There’s also time to relax, take photos and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before returning to Bucharest.
