The Experience
Enjoy a fantastic Rome food walking tour and sample some of the city's delicious pizza and gelato.
The food tour takes you around the Rione Monti neighbourhood, an area located between Venice Square and the Colosseum that is steeped in history and culture and has a distinct medieval atmosphere. The tour guide will take you to visit either the Santa Maria Maggiore or Santa Pudenziana Church within this neighborhood.
On the tour you will visit traditional bakeries that specialise in pizza preparation. You will try different types of pizza; these could be cooked in traditional flint rock ovens, made with artisan ingredients, rectangular pan baked or baked on a wood oven. As an accompaniment to the food you will try some traditional Italian beer. The food tour would not be complete without you trying some delicious Italian gelato.
