Led by a knowledgeable whiskey guide, you’ll explore the country’s traditions through a selection of premium whiskeys and locally sourced food pairings.
Taste a handpicked range of Irish whiskeys, including smooth malts and distinctive pot still styles. Each whiskey is matched with artisan cheeses such as Coolea and Cais na Tire, chosen to enhance the character of each sip. High-cocoa handmade chocolates are paired to balance and contrast the flavours, while fresh fruit is used between tastings to reset the palate. Linseed and rye crackers are also provided to add texture throughout the session.
As you progress through the tasting, your guide will explain the history, production methods and stories behind each whiskey. You’ll gain a clearer understanding of Ireland’s whiskey heritage while enjoying complementary food pairings in a relaxed setting.
