Your experience starts at the quiet airfield in Buttwil, where you will meet your pilot and complete a brief check-in process. This is completely no-fuss, giving you time to look over the planned flight path and see how the route cuts across the high peaks. Once the pre-flight checks are sorted, you will step out onto the tarmac and climb inside the light aircraft. After a quick rundown of the interior controls, the engine turns over and the plane taxis out to the runway for takeoff. You will feel the aircraft lift away from the green countryside, climbing steadily as you leave the lower valleys behind.As the plane reaches cruising altitude, the landscape changes completely. You will watch the rolling hills flatten out as you head deep into the mountains, passing the massive ice fields of the Aletsch Glacier. The flight path brings you right up to the distinct, pyramid-shaped peak of the Matterhorn, allowing you to see the jagged rock formations and steep ridges up close from your window. Because you are traveling in a small plane, you get a clear sense of the sheer scale of the mountains without any of the ground-level noise or crowds.Your pilot handles the navigation and points out the key landmarks as you loop around the peak, before turning the aircraft back north towards the airfield for a smooth landing.

If you suffer from lung, heart and circulatory problems or other diseases that could affect your comfort during the flight, please ask your doctor for permission. The maximum weight for this flight is 100 kg.
The flight can only take place under good weather conditions. If your experience is cancelled due to weather, it can be rebooked.
The wonderful flight experience lasts approximately two hours. For the whole experience, you should allow at least 2.5 hours.
The price of the voucher is valid for one person. A minimum of two full-paying customers is necessary that the experience can take place (individual passengers by arrangement). Children from 2 to 12 years have to pay only half of the price, but must be accompanied by an adult. Please contact our customer service for any questions.
Spectators are very welcome to watch you during the take-off and landing. Do not forget your camera and binoculars.
We recommend that you bring sunglasses to this experience. Otherwise, feel free to wear the clothes you feel comfortable in.
This flight experience can be booked all year. It is advised to book well in advance.
