Your experience begins at the airfield where you meet your flight instructor for a pre-flight briefing. This session covers the basic controls of the aircraft, safe operational procedures, and what to expect once you are up in the air.
After completing the safety checks, you head out to the aircraft and climb into the cockpit. You will sit in the pilot's seat with access to the dual controls while your instructor handles the take-off and climbs to a safe cruising altitude. Once the aircraft stabilizes, the instructor passes control over to you so you can experience how the plane handles.
While flying over the Leipzig landscape, you will practice basic movements such as maintaining a straight line, making gentle turns, and adjusting your altitude. You can feel the aircraft respond directly to your inputs through the control column as you fly.
The instructor stays right next to you throughout the flight to offer advice over the headset and manage the radio communications. As the session comes to an end, the instructor takes back the controls to handle the descent and bring the aircraft down for a smooth landing on the runway.
What’s Included
In lung, heart and circulation problems or other diseases that could affect your well-being during the flight, ask your doctor in advance if he has any objections with respect to the local flight. Maximum weight is between 90-100 kg. The minimum age is 14 years.

This flying experience is weather-dependent. Please call the airport one day before your appointment and let you confirm the date again.
After a preparation time of about 30 minutes, the flight time is normally 60 minutes.
In most aircrafts there fit only 2 people, i.e. the student pilot and the pilot.
You are welcome to bring spectators, watching you from the ground!
Please wear clothes in which you feel comfortable.
This experience is available from April to October; other times upon consultation.
