The Experience
Take the wheel and see what a 4×4 can do.
The 4×4 Off Road Experience Junior 1 Hour puts you in control of a real off road vehicle. With your own dedicated instructor beside you, you’ll spend an hour learning how to handle slopes, ruts and muddy tracks in a safe but exciting setting.
From the moment you set off, you’ll get a feel for how the vehicle responds on uneven ground. Your instructor will guide you through each challenge, showing you how to stay in control and make the most of the 4×4’s power.
You won’t be alone either. A parent or guardian will be seated in the back, and up to two other passengers can join them, so your family or friends can share the ride as you put your new skills into action.
The whole experience lasts around ninety minutes, including your briefing and one full hour in the driver’s seat. Sessions are available on selected weekends, with morning or afternoon times depending on the venue.

Vital Information
Most centres include restrictions on age, weight or height and also require you hold a full manual driving licence.

The Weather
The weather should not affect this experience, but any cancellations are for your own safety. Please call the centre before you leave if in any doubt. Wet weather can make for an even more exciting, muddy adventure.
Session Length
Please allow around ninety minutes in total, including briefing and preparation.
Numbers
This is an exclusive session so it will just be you and the instructor driving. You are able to bring two people with you to be passengers.
Spectators
Two people are allowed in the car with you as passengers, however they will not be able to drive.
What To Wear
Dress for the outdoors, i.e. warmly if it's cold, with stout boots and a waterproof jacket. Bring along a change of clothes if it is wet.
