The Experience
The 3 Hour Fishing Trip in Sligo Bay takes you beyond the shoreline into the calm waters of Sligo and Donegal Bay.
Designed for up to eight people, this trip combines light mackerel fishing with the excitement of reef and bottom fishing. It’s suitable for all ages, offering a relaxed but rewarding experience for first-time and seasoned anglers alike.
The charter departs from Rosses Point, a scenic harbour village on Ireland’s northwest coast. Once aboard, the crew provides all equipment and instruction needed to get started. The trip begins with mackerel fishing before moving to deeper areas where you can try for whitefish and other local species. You can keep your catch, provided it meets legal guidelines.
If time allows, there’s the option to stop at nearby Coney Island for a drink or bite to eat at the local pub, a popular choice for group outings and family trips.
Includes:
Bring warm clothing, waterproofs and containers for your catch. Fishing trips also run in the evening, offering a peaceful way to end the day!
Important Information
You will be expected to follow instructions of the skipper at all times throughout the trip. The skipper reserves the right to cancel the trip and return to port if he believes the safety of the crew or the vessel may be compromised in anyway.
Rod and tackle use is included, however the hirer is responsible for any lost or damaged gear.
